Arshdeep’s Career Best Performance Guides India D to a Consolation Win

The third-round Duleep Trophy 2024 produced a thrilling encounter as India D defeated India B to grab a consolation win. India D's Ricky Bhui and Sanju Samson showcased their batting prowess, scoring centuries to lay the foundation for their 257-run victory. However, the real star of the show was Arshdeep Singh. He was the standout performer of this match as he claimed six wickets in the second innings to end India B’s inning for just 115. 

This exceptional performance has raised eyebrows over Arshdeep's exclusion from the Indian squad for the recent matches against Bangladesh. It has fuelled speculations over poor decision-making by the selection committee.

And in the second inning, India D's Ricky Bhui continued his impressive form, scoring another century. Captain Shreyas Iyer and Sanju Samson also made significant contributions to achieve a target of 373 runs, securing their victory.
